Houston Teen in Hospital after reportedly taking ‘Molly’ at Music Festival
EL PASO, Texas — A 17-year old girl from Houston was in critical condition after allegedly overdosing on the drug “molly” at a music festival in El Paso.
“Molly” is a pure form of ecstasy, and is popular with the club crowd.
It killed two concertgoers in New York last week, and doctors said it can be especially deadly when combined with other drugs.
“They will often mix ecstasy with other drugs, especially at parties. like marijuana and alcohol. and I think that the combination of these drugs makes them all the more toxic,” said Addiction Specialist Dr. Damon Raskin.
Ecstasy has been around for decades but never as pure as it is now.
