Most of you should already know that I love my coffee. What makes me enjoy it more is knowing that my coffee obsession is actually helping others out. How does that work you ask? Well, let me explain…
Dancing Moon Coffee is a premium brand of coffee that’s small batch, single source, strictly organic, mold-free and fair trade compliant, that uses only the highest standards in roasting. The product line focuses on beans from the world’s best single source plantations. A portion of the proceeds of every sale ofDancing Moon Coffee goes to the Semper Fi Fund, set up post – 9/11 to provide immediate financial assistance and lifetime support for the wounded, critically ill and injured members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families.
Each of the coffees are naturally high in antioxidants. Dancing Moon Coffee’s special roasting process activates even more of these powerful antioxidants so just one delicious cup of coffee gives you 3 times more antioxidants than a cup of green tea!

We were able to review the Dancing Moon Sumatra Mandheling Whole Bean Organic Fair Trade Antioxidant Coffee. We do not usually buy whole bean but I have been told numerous times by friends and family that whole bean tastes much fresher and better. They were right. Sumatra Mandheling coffee is extremely high in Antioxidants and Certified Fair Trade and Certified Organic. The coffee beans come in a 2 lb. resealable pouch, which is the ideal place to store them. You can also store them in an airtight container in a cool place if you prefer.
Dancing Moon Coffee suggests using a burr grinder for the freshest-tasting cup of coffee and the beans should be ground just before brewing. I use the KRUPS F203 Grinder and it works great and is a great price at under $20! You may need to grind it a few times to find the perfect fineness depending on the method of brewing you prefer. If the grinds are too course, then the coffee will have a lackluster flavor. If they are too fine, the coffee will have a bitter taste. I have brewed my Dancing Moon Coffee in our iCoffee Opus as well as a French Press and have had a perfect tasting cup each way.
You can find all of these coffees from Dancing Moon Coffee available at Amazon.com in 2 lb. bags.
