There is only one good way to join in on the fun for National Coffee Day.
You might call it the best day of the year.
Today is National Coffee Day, and these fine mixes (and one fine coffee machine) are a good way to celebrate the wonderful drink that drives all business productivity.
1. Dancing Moon Coffee Jamaica Blue Mountain ($26)
This company, started by three retired friends, sources this coffee blend from a specific estate within Jamaica. It has a hint of citrus and chocolate.
2. Community Coffee Company Pumpkin Praline ($6.49)
Buying this coffee helps kids. You can cut the UPC symbol from the package and schools can turn them in for cash. The company just did a complete rebranding and has a new logo.
3. Brian’s 24 House Blend (Varies)
A diner in San Diego that ships anywhere, Brian’s 24 makes an organic blend that came about after a partnership with Cafe Virtuoso roaster, also based in San Diego.
4. H.C. Valentine Organic Aztec Roast (Varies)
A dark roast from Latin America and Indonesia, this blend has a hint of cocoa, plum and tobacco. Like Dancing Moon, the blends are single-sourced from specific growers.
5. Jura 95 ($3,398.90)
Make sure you treat your staff to a daily ritual — coffee that tastes like it was brewed at a coffee house (and even better because it’s fresh). This machine grinds on the spot; a display walks you through the steps to make a light or dark roast or even a cappuccino.
