Fat removal is becoming big business in the aesthetics world and there are a number of systems, utilising different forms of energy, that aim to remove the fat and sculpt the body into the desired shape. Vaser Shape is a non-surgical technique that uses ultrasound and massage therapy treatment to smooth, firm and shape the body, temporarily reducing cellulite, increasing lymphatic drainage and blood circulation.
Vaser Shape: Am I suitable?
Vaser Shape is suitable for most men and women who are interested in having fat removed. It can target any part of the body, including the inner and outer thighs, lower back, abdomen, buttocks, knees, chin and neck, arms and calves.
This treatment is aimed at stubborn pockets of fat that just won’t shift. Good skin elasticity is also important as it won’t tighten sagging skin.
Vaser Shape: What do I have to do to prepare?
There is no preparation necessary for this treatment.
Vaser Shape: What’s the treatment like?
Vaser Shape combines ultrasound and massage therapy to treat fatty tissue under the skin. Using high frequency sound waves delivered from a handpiece, it triggers localized heat under the surface of the skin creating a “micromassage” effect on the fat cells. The connective tissue is warmed up, causing fat to redistribute and encouraging blood circulation.
Vaser Shape: Are there any risks or side effects?
As Vaser Shape is a non-invasive treatment you will find there’s little to no risks or side effects. Your skin may appear pink and feel a little warm after the treatment has been performed due to the increase in blood circulation around the area. This after effect should resolve itself after an hour or two post treatment.
Vaser Shape: What will it cost me?
Treatment usually starts from £2,000 per area.
