The MTV Video Music Awards are quickly approaching this weekend, and the official MTV VMA talent gift bags are always filled to the brim with loads of great swag and this year is no different!
Here are the noted highlights: Brooklyn Nets Gear from Adidas: As a tribute to Brooklyn hosting the event this year, recipients will take home plenty of products boasting the city’s name including a hoodie, plus other goodies from local companies like H. Mr. Taite is a recovering addict and speaks the language with a rare clarity and directness you won’t find with a Dr. Drew. He is frequently booked on news programs as an expert commentator when news breaks of a celebrity death.
Cliffside, of course, was the reported place where Lindsay Lohan’s recovery took place. Important to note that the center itself never confirmed this publicly; it was all leaked from unidentified sources to the tabloids.
Many news outlets today are asking why “Ending Addiction for Good: The Ground-Breaking, Holistic Evidence-Based Way to Transform Your Life” was part of the goodie bag. We wanted to know too, and asked Mr. Taite today why he included this book with the other items.

The 2012 “MTV Video Music Awards,” broadcast live from STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, was the #1 telecast across all TV for the night of September 6, 2012 in P12-34, scoring a 5.3 P12-34 rating with 6.1 million total viewers. Across the Viacom networks (MTV, VH1, MTV2 and Logo) the simulcast of the premiere averaged 8.0 million total viewers. Encore presentations of the 2012 show on MTV earned a 2.4 P12-34 rating at 10:00 p.m., and a 1.2 P12-34 rating at 12:00 a.m., for a total rating of 8.9 for the evening.
