Real Life Stories: A Tisanoreica Weight Loss Diary… Looking and Feeling Great

I am officially done the entire 20-day Tisanoreica Diet Protocol – 10 days of the Intensive phase and 10 days of the stabilizing phase – and I must say it wasn’t bad, in fact it was pretty easy to follow. Everything was fairly straight forward, I ate pretty well and the Tisanoreica team was really good about supporting me throughout the whole process, especially in answering all of my questions (which if you read my last post, you know I had a ton). Not to mention that I am down some, although not all, of the weight I was hoping to lose and feeling pretty good about it.
I must say that the second phase of the diet was harder for me than the initial 10 days. My energy dwindled quite a bit towards the last few days of the program, I snacked more often and I had cravings like you wouldn’t believe (which even though I did not give into them, I found myself having dreams about food almost nightly; one night I even dreamt about scarfing down 8 slices of pizza – quite disturbing).
The hardest part for me though, much more than the no alcohol and no sweets, was that I did not see any sustained weight loss; in fact I bounced up and down almost daily. I have never been so perfectly consistent on any diet in my life so to not see the results was a bit difficult to process. After a week of no weight loss at all and days where my weight would go up (see July 24 & 29) I reached out to the Tisanoreica team to see what I could do. They suggested that I switch to one day on, one day off for the lunch carb portion. And it worked, sort of. The days after the no carbs, I was down but would go up the following day after having pasta or quinoa for lunch. I’m not going to lie and say it hasn’t been frustrating but at the same time I think this is probably normal, my weight tends to fluctuate this way on the diet or not depending on what I ate the day before.
That said, I am down 8 lbs. in 20 days, which falls within the range that I was told I would lose and it’s a pretty good start. I’m not disappointed in the least; rather, it has inspired me to keep going.
So this is not the end of my journey; I’m excited to say that I am going to be continuing on with Celebzter and Tisanoreica until reach my goal. I’ve got to take a little break for three weeks as I’ll be traveling but then I’ll be returning to the program to kick start the next phase of the weight loss.
This is actually a great thing; I’ll be checking in upon my return to let you know what happened as I went back to eating (and drinking) normally again. We’ll see if in fact the Stabilizing phase has reset my metabolism as it says it does and we’ll see if I regain some or all of the weight I lost. Please note that during the next two weeks I’ll be traveling and celebrating my 31st birthday so there will, I’m sure, be a few French fries, pieces of cakes and cocktails imbibed but I’m not planning on going crazy. I’ll then restart the diet, under the supervision of the Tisanoreica team, to continue the weight loss I’ve begun.
Some of my impressions of the diet
Favourite Tisanoreica products: High Protein Chocolate Flavored Drink mix, T-Griss and the Tisanosweet candies Least favourite Tisanoreica products: The tonics – I am not a fan of the flavour of licorice and they all seem to have anise, fennel or actual licorice in them.
Things I’ve missed the most: Fruit(!!!),Pinot Grigio, salty snacks, cheese, and gum.
Weird “side effect”: I drank a lot of diet soda and zero calorie drinks (I normally have about one a week and I was doing up to 2 a day sometimes).

Day 1 – Wednesday, July 24

Breakfast – 9:00 a.m.

Notes: a bit dry but it was nice to have some sweetness again. I really missed it.
Lunch – 12:45 p.m.
Food: 45 g of Kamut Udon noodles with a few splashes of soy sauce plus steamed cauliflower and broccoli with seasoning salt
Snack – 4:00 p.m.
Food: Tisanoreica High Protein Chocolate Flavored Drink mix
Notes: I had bad day so I drank it hot. It was very comforting
Dinner – 7:30 p.m.
Food: 4 oz. of grilled chicken breast with grilled zucchini and eggplant plus a side salad (cabbage, kale, chicory, broccoli, Brussels sprouts) with homemade dressing (extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt and pepper)

Notes: I can start integrating coloured veggies back into my diet so I’m trying to do it slowly. I added just enough to wet and flavour the pasta
Snack – 4:00 p.m.
Food: Tisanoreica High Protein Chocolate Flavored Drink mix (frozen)
Dinner – 7:30 p.m.
Food: 4 oz. of grilled chicken breast with grilled zucchini and eggplant on top of salad (baby spinach, cabbage, kale, chicory, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, Persian cucumbers and mushrooms) with balsamic vinegar + 5 almonds
Notes: Oh how I’ve missed my balsamic (my dressing of choice). I used as little as possible but just enough to coat the lettuce slightly.

Notes: switched my meals around today because I was on the road and had to eat my lunch out. I find it’s easier to eat grilled protein out than to figure out pasta portions and sauces in a restaurant. I also switched dinner and snack because I didn’t get home till after 5 so I thought it best to eat the pasta early and have the shake late rather than eating dinner at 9:30 when I’ll be in bed at 11 tonight.
