Addiction expert on Lindsay Lohan: ‘This looks like it will end very badly…’

News on Lindsay Lohan’s Friday Pacific Coast Highway crash has emerged, as the star apparently had an open container of alcohol, law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

i

TMZ reports that the tow truck driver claimed police confiscated a plastic water bottle from the trunk of the Porsche, one that TMZ’s law enforcement sources confirm contained alcohol.

Another TMZ law enforcement source paints an unclear picture, that the bottle was found in the “debris field” and “scooped up along with other parts and placed in the trunk before it was towed away.”

There is no violation if indeed this container were being transported in the trunk. Lindsay had no alcohol in her system at the time of the accident.

Addiction expert and founder and CEO of Cliffside Malibu, Richard Taite, has followed the troubling stories of Lindsay Lohan in the past few years.  Mr. Taite tells Monsters and Critics: “Lindsey Lohan may not have broken the law, but she is clearly on the wrong path. Booze in the trunk? Not exactly on the road to becoming her best self considering her recent past.  I obviously wish her nothing but the best.  Unfortunately, right now this looks like it will end very badly, I am sorry to say.”

Vaser Shape: Lipo, Redux

Recently, I was asked to try the Vaser Shape, an ultrasound treatment that zaps fat cells and essentially does what liposuction does, but – keyword – non-invasively. Phrases along the lines of, “immediate results, painless, and free” were the factors that made the decision easy an easy yes for me. “What can I lose?” I thought. “An hour of my time? If it doesn’t work, well, it’s non-invasive so no harm.” But there was still the possibility of it actually working, so I’m not going to lie, I was super-excited. (more…)

The Rise Of The Zombie Nation: Why “Bath Salts” Pose More Threat To Society Than Any Other Street Drug

The news of a man eating another man’s face off and growling as he had human flesh hanging from his teeth was stomach-churning enough as a on-off isolated incident.

But in the past two weeks, more and more utterly atrocious situations which resemble the Miami incident have come to light.

The latest of which, saw a homeless man reportedly high on “bath salts”, attempting to bite off a police officer’s hand after he was arrested for erratic behavior at a Miami fast food restaurant.

The zombie-like incident took place only two weeks after another bizarre attack in the area, in which Rudy Eugene, 31, attacked homeless man Ronald Poppo, 65, by eating off his face.

And, according to Richard Taite, President and CEO of Cliffside Malibu, this new drug currently poses the biggest threat to society, more so than any other street drug because it is relatively inexpensive and easily accessible.

Addiction expert comments on Scout Willis’ underage drinking bust

The daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, Scout Willis, was busted in New York for possessing a fake ID and drinking underage in public.

Willis is due back in court on July 31 after being charged with two misdemeanors Tuesday.

She allegedly drank a beer and then handed cops a fake ID in New York’s Union Square on Monday evening, according to People magazine.

Willis, 20, rejected the state’s offer to plead guilty to the charges as they stand now because she would have a permanent criminal record, which infuriates her attorney.

“It would be outrageous to mar a person that’s clearly going places – clearly seeking to have a career … with a criminal record,” her attorney, Stacey Richman, tells People magazine. “The goal is clearly a non-criminal offer.”

Expert Opinion: Why The Gruesome “Miami Cannibal” Crime Could Just Be One Of Many We See

It’s a crime that shocked the world: A man not just eating a man’s flesh, but his entire face off. It’s one that the imagery alone has traumatized many (including us) as we try to come to grips at how a human being could possibly even contemplate doing such a despicable and throughly horrifying thing.

With various reports claiming that Randy Eugene was under the influence of a new drug called “bath salts”, we consulted Richard Taite, President and CEO of Cliffside Malibu, who informed us that the usage of this street drug is on the rise…. and rise.

And, as we have seen, the consequences of taking it are dire, stomach-churning and utterly beyond comprehension.
