Monsters and Critics loves healthy food and the people who make it easy, wonderful vegan and green experts like Sophie Uliano of Hallmark Channel’s Home & Family and Carol Alt, who has been a raw food devotee for a decade.  These women are top of their game in the wellness diet advice arena.

We also love useful multitaskers in the kitchen that can juice and grind, creating both cold pressed juices and assorted nut butters, healthy baby food, dips, and even cauliflower pizza crusts like the USA-made Champion Juicer. Making good choices in the kitchen has never been easier for people now with great grocers like Erewhon, Whole Foods and even chains like Safeway and Trader Joe’s offering gluten free options, prepared raw foods, and farm fresh, non-GMO foods that are organic and locally sourced.

Now beautiful Beyoncé and her husband, Jay Z, have capitalized on their success in their vegan challenge they did a year or so ago. Bey decided to try a vegan challenge, she loved it and now with her trainer, her vegan passion is a well funded new business.

The entrepreneurial singer has teamed up with her trainer Marco Borges to launch a new vegan meal delivery service called 22 Days Nutrition. The name was inspired by the belief that it takes 21 days to break a bad habit.

As a vegan, world -renowned exercise physiologist Marco Borges was always in search of the perfect nutrition for optimum wellness. He found that the options were limited to provide his clients with the types of foods they needed to perform at their best. Unwilling to settle for what was available on the market, Marco sought out to formulate nutrition-packed vegan options for people who are trying to transform their lives, bodies and habits.

When you order from 22 Days Nutrition every meal will be 100 percent plant-based and it will be delivered once a week. Meals will range in price from $9.76 to $16.50 and all ingredients used will be non-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free and organic.

A full three-meals-a-day package, will run you $629.79, including shipping fee of $19.95. Each meal, says the website, is “a perfect balance of protein, carbohydrates and fat with limited salt and sugar.”

“All you have to do is try. If I can do it, anyone can,” Beyoncé said in a press release.

“We all know the importance and value of eating plant-based foods but often times find ourselves trapped in a series of bad habits that sabotage optimum wellness,” says co-founder Borges. “The Vegan Meal Delivery program makes it easier to reset your habits with healthy and delicious plant-based foods.

The home delivery service was born out of a demand from Borges’ friends, colleagues and clients who enjoyed his delicious meals that were naturally low in fat, sugar and salt and filled with flavor from whole-foods such as vegetables, beans, grains, herbs and spices. The home delivery program takes away all the guesswork and makes it easy to adopt the plan.

“I am so grateful that I took the challenge and credit Marco with leading by example,” says Beyonce. “He is the most energetic person I know and it’s all because of his decision to live a healthy lifestyle. He came up with a great program to get people motivated to make better nutritional choices. All you have to do is try. If I can do it, anyone can. I am excited to partner with him.”

The longtime fitness expert, who has been a leader in the field for over 20 years, says it’s really not about asking everyone to become a vegan but rather to make simple healthier food choices so they can live a more energetic and productive life.

“I am humbled by this incredible partnership and excited to share the many benefits of a whole-foods plant-based diet,” says Borges.
