‘Kill Your Darlings’ Daniel Radcliffe’s Tisanoreica feast in Venice

70th Venice Film Festival had a public screening of John Krokidas’s “Kill Your Darlings.” The film’s star Daniel Radcliffe was in attendance along with luminaries from the Italian fashion business and cinema world.

Radcliffe’s portrayal of a young Allen Ginsburg at Columbia University in 1944 is described as a long way removed from that of Harry Potter, his most famous character to date.

The film is about the artistic and sexual awakening of the famous American “Beat” poet.

Is There a ‘Bigorexic’ Man in Your Life?

Is There a ‘Bigorexic’ Man in Your Life?

bigorexic

When is big too big, or even dangerously big? That’s the question some health experts are asking about excessive bodybuilding. Nicknamed bigorexia, obsessive muscle mass bulking can damage mental and physical wellbeing, especially when it involves dangerous drug use.

“Bigorexia is the term we’re using for men who are using substances like anabolic steroids and testosterone to get bigger and bigger,” says Dr. Damon Raskin, a board-certified internist with a specialty in men’s health. “The danger with taking supplemental testosterone is that it shuts off the body’s ability to make it. Depression is a common side effect; it can damage the liver too, as can anabolic steroids.” Other side effects aren’t pretty either: “There are changes in personality, including excessive aggression — ‘roid rage’ — and breast enlargement and acne.”

Houston Teen in Hospital after reportedly taking ‘Molly’ at Music Festival

EL PASO, Texas — A 17-year old girl from Houston was in critical condition after allegedly overdosing on the drug “molly” at a music festival in El Paso.

“Molly” is a pure form of ecstasy, and is popular with the club crowd.

It killed two concertgoers in New York last week, and doctors said it can be especially deadly when combined with other drugs.

“They will often mix ecstasy with other drugs, especially at parties. like marijuana and alcohol. and I think that the combination of these drugs makes them all the more toxic,” said Addiction Specialist Dr. Damon Raskin.

Ecstasy has been around for decades but never as pure as it is now.
